Back to Reality

Well, we, Addlea and Mom, have returned home, Addlea went to college then showed up last night with two friends to spend the weekend; city girls who realized when we drove in that we live in the middle of nowhere and that it's normal to leave your keys in the car unlocked. The bedroom is almost done and looks wonderful and we spent most of the week last week home; only one full day because of the cold weather school was called off early, cancelled for the day or 2 hours late.

Tearing down the closet and walls between two rooms to open it up and make one big room.

Jim is putting up insulation and sheetrocking so it's warmer.

Painted and moved back in; now we only have the windows, trim and finish the bookshelf in the divider wall.

Last day on the ocean

Addlea found a living thing on the beach- we left it where we found it.

Ponce Inlet Harbour and we had a great supper too.

Thursday

So it was a lot warmer and sunnier today. Thursday, we took Marsha to the airport and then headed for Cocoa Beach. We walked a lot and gathered shells and last night cheered on the Gators. The Pelicans sitting on top of the Cocoa Beach Pier. I think they are the same ones we took a picture of 3 years ago.

Addlea looks like she's having fun; we're not sure about the other two.

This is the life....except we didn't bring our swimming suits from the condo.

In front of Ron Jons- the one and only surf store in the world... except we found a better one out their back door with cheaper shirts and a huge shark tank!!!!!! Baihley, we're not bringing home a shark either.

We were determined to sit and enjoy the beach even though it was cold. We ended up back up by the ocean wall with beach towels wrapped around our legs; Addlea chickened out and went in the condo!

Well we had a major rain storm move through; Addlea and Mom stayed in one side shop and Grandma, Grandpa and Marsha were in another as a sand storm, then rain and wind and then it was over but the cool front had come for sure. Didn't keep us off the beach though!

This is fun!!!!!

We had a beautiful drive through the Ocala National Forest. We saw bear crossing signs, deer crossing signs and sandcranes right beside the road. We hit the beach and had more fun than we can describe.

We flew out midst having to de-ice the plane two different ways. We went on 4 hours of sleep in 48 hours and we were a bit more than tired. Today is beautiful down here; we've been for 2 bike rides and a long walk through Sholom park.
