Back in the Saddle again

History Day- Tyler chose the "Narnian- C.S. Lewis" and the effect he had on the world. Chronicles of Narnia is the all around best seller children's book.

A little bit of rodeo teaching Gizmo respect Travis was riding him, cantering, trotting and going all over the area. Gizmo was sweating but seemed to enjoy this new adventure.

We're back to training Gizmo this time with a very accomplished trainer. Baihley is grinning from ear to ear; we'll see what happens when we get in the ring and copy Travis's moves!!!! All I know is that it looks so easy.

Marette's 50th birthday celebration at Red Lobster

Saturday January 24th we went out for supper with friends at Red Lobster. Little did I know the fun we would have..Jim arranged some of my "not so normal" friends to come and serenade me . We had a grand time.... even though they aren't the best looking they sure sound good!!!! Yes, I'm losing my hearing too in my old age. It was a wonderful, fun and a great way to usher in the next 50 years. I hope when I turn 100 they are still around to woo me!!!!!!!!!!!
The Hillbillies were in great form.... And they weren't even embarressed to eat at Red Lobster dressed in their Sunday Best. They sang again once inside but I did notice the waitress placed our party in the farthest hidden corner.

Birthday cake at Don and Darla's was a perfect end to a fun night!

Don, Wayne, Marette, Russ and Randy! If only they had told me, I would have worn my wig, and false teeth!!!!!!!!!!!!
