Winter, Christmas and fun

St Croix State park on a hike. The amount of trees down is alarming from the tornado last July.

This is what most of the woods looks like if it hasn't been logged yet.

Addlea, Baihley and Tyler at the Mill City Museum.
Don't ask- it's like planking but on the stairs at the Guthrie.

Outside on the Stone Arch Bridge. Hey--- it's a picture of Mom!!!!

Oh... I forgot

Homecoming at Kasson- Baihley playing Clarinet in the marching band

Tyler is the cool dude with sunglasses.

Enroute back from Milligan College in Tennessee, we stopped at the Keeneland Racetrack!!!!
Mom would have stayed all day but Tyler wanted to get home.

October flew fly!!!!

We went down to Chicago to see Addlea over Trinity's Homecoming with Grandpa, Grandma and Aaron's familiy. Had a great time.  Notice how much taller Tyler is getting to be and the facial hair.

Had the priviledge of spending a day and an evening with John Lyons- America's most trusted Horseman and a devote Christian who shares his faith with everyone and is one of the neatest men I've met.

Oh yes, Tyler turned 18. We celebrated it at Jepachi in Rochester with Grandpa Leonard and Lori!

Family update

Addlea doesn't think I've kept up very good, so here we go. The summer, the fun and the interesting moments.
Julia, Caitlin and Grace stayed with us 10 days. Lots of fun and lots of heat. It was during the fair.

Fishing at the cabin was fun.

Addlea was in a wedding and looked like she was having too much fun.

Baihley did pretty good with Toby at the Fair.

Anna stayed with us for a week and loved the horses. She's a real good rider too.

New building

We began tearing down the buildings in April

The Olive's Construction Company began hauling in fill, tore in the cement walls of the pits, buried and filled the holes.
The big, tall toothpicks.

Putting up the tin on the east end of the building
All done except for the front door which they ran out of screws! Beautiful.

May fun and storms

Coffee house Concert featured "Phantom of the Opera".  They sang the song Masquerade. I still don't understand that movie.

Sunday afternoon storms came through dumping an inch of rain in a short period of time and very strong winds. The Horses had gotten out, were put in another pasture and 30 minutes later the storm hit and where they would have been standing was flipped over. Both lean to's in the pastures went upside down. No horses were hurt and we saw a purpose in the horses getting out.  Now to get things dried up!!!!

Nassau, Bahamas

Took the ferry to Paradise Island. Saw Mick Jagger's home, Nicholas Cage and many other "rich" people.
This is the market where hundreds of Bahahmian crafters try to get you to spend money.

Jim thought I was taking him to the homeless ghetto section; actually it's the backside of the fort area; interesting!

A school group were having a tour of the fort also.
